Leader Training: Life Group Leaders + Next Gen Leaders
Join us for our Winter 2026 Leader Training on Wednesday, January 7, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. We’ll gather in the Fellowship Hall for dinner before breaking out into ministry-specific sessions designed to equip and encourage you for the semester ahead. This training is for all Life Group and Next Gen leaders.
West End Wednesdays
West End Wednesdays will pause for the holidays and resume on Wednesday, January 14. We hope you enjoy this time with family, and we look forward to gathering again in the new year!
New and Expectant Parents Class
Join us for the New and Expectant Parents Class on Sunday, January 18, from 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. in Room 101. We’ll talk about the what and why of family discipleship, and how to nurture your child’s spiritual growth from day one. We’ll also discuss parent-child dedications — a practical way you can commit, before your church family, to raise your children in truth. This class is open to any parent of preschool-aged children and is required to schedule a dedication.
Year End Giving
We are stewards of all God has given us, and December giving is important as we look to finish well and start strong in the new year! You can give online or by other tax-advantaged means. Gifts must be received or postmarked by Wednesday, December 31, 2025, to be included in your 2025 Contribution Statement.
2026 Bible Reading Plan
Start the year in God’s Word with a clear and steady rhythm. This plan guides you through the entire Bible in 314 days, offering two readings each day—one from the Old Testament and one from the New—while giving you a weekly catch-up day to stay on track. We are grateful to Ligonier Ministries for providing this resource to help believers understand, live, and share their faith. Join us as we read Scripture together day by day.
Building Momentum: 40 Days of Seeking God Together
We’re gearing up for a powerful season of prayer as we step into our 2026 Momentum theme. Beginning January 11, we’ll launch a 40-day journey of Scripture and prayer to start the year centered on Christ and aligned with His mission. Free print guides will be available January 4, and you can subscribe to receive daily prayer prompts by email. Let’s start strong—2026 begins in prayer.
Register Now for Spring 2026 EQUIP Courses
Ready to grow in your understanding of Scripture and theology? Sign up for the Spring 2026 EQUIP courses at Brentwood Baptist, offered in partnership with Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Courses are available to students enrolled at SEBTS. Non-SEBTS students are welcome to audit the class for a fee of $50. This semester’s classes include Hermeneutics, New Testament II, and Great Commission. Spaces are limited, so reserve your seat today!
Christian Coaching Foundations Training
Join us Friday, January 23, from 1:00–8:00 p.m. and Saturday, January 24, from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. in The Welcome Center at Brentwood Baptist for an International Coaching Federation–accredited training course. This immersive two-day experience will introduce the core distinctions between coaching, mentoring, and counseling while equipping you with practical coaching principles to strengthen the way you lead and support others. Whether you’re new to coaching or looking to grow your skills, this foundational course is the perfect place to begin your coaching journey. Registration is required.
